Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: NIXI launches ‘Har Ghar Digital, Har Jeevan Digital’ campaign

To mark India’s 75 years of Independence, the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) has announced a nationwide campaign called “Har Ghar Digital, Har Jeevan Digital.” They are offering .IN and .भारत domains registration for INR 75 for a year.

Available from August 5 to August 20, 2022, the objective of this initiative is to encourage the use of these domain names and spread local language content on the Internet.

This will further help in increasing the digitisation across industries, including MSME, Startups, Technology, Education and Healthcare sectors. The offer has been designed to enable the adoption of digital identity by every citizen of India at the most affordable rate. People will be open to having digital independence and in turn contribute to the digital economy of the country.

Along with this, users can also avail of one customised free email id of their choice to extend their online presence.
