Right before any competitive exam, it is often mentioned “have faith, you will do well”. And so, it is crucial to believe in yourself when preparing for any competitive exam. However, you can only build that belief when you are aware of your strengths and weaknesses which comes through self-analysis. In addition to this step, there are several others that play an important role while preparing for any competitive exam.

Therefore, when it comes to providing quality education, Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar makes sure to leave no stones unturned and provide aspirants ample opportunities to hone their talents in order to make them employable ready in the future. The idea has always been to prepare students for any competitive exam that they can ace.

Considering the same, the PG Department of Commerce and Management at ACFA organised a guest lecture on the topic “How to crack competitive exams”. The key resource person for the session was Ashutosh Chibber, an alumnus of ACFA. Chibber, who has completed his MBA from IIM Raipur, is currently working as Area Sales Manager in Pidilite Industry (Fevicol Division).

Addressing the students he said, “In order to pass the competitive exams, first of all, we have to set our goal. This is followed by devoting more time in those subjects in which we are not strong or less confident. With this, time management, continuous practice and discipline are the key elements.”

He further added that we should begin this preparation while pursuing our graduation degree. With this, we can ensure our success.

Expressing her views on this guest lecture, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal at ACFA, mentioned, “Our college provides various opportunities to the students in which they can get the best employment by recognising their skills and continuously working on it.”
