Appreciation assembly recognises talent across diverse fields
Apeejay School, Noida, celebrates effort and excellence as young achievers take centre stage
Recognition becomes meaningful when it celebrates not only results, but also the discipline and perseverance behind them. With this purpose, an Appreciation Assembly was held for the Middle School students of Apeejay School, Noida. The ceremony highlighted their achievements across sports, academics and creative pursuits.
The assembly recognised students who had performed well in several inter-house sports competitions. These included Table Tennis for boys, Junior Boys’ Basketball, Junior Girls’ Basketball, Junior Boys’ Chess and Junior Boys’ Football.
Celebrating sporting accomplishments
Students with notable achievements at inter-school sports events were also acknowledged. Their accomplishments in Karate, Gymnastics and Roller Skating reflected the steady effort required to perform beyond the school level. Together, these achievements highlighted the value of regular practice, focus and sportsmanship.
Talent across different fields
Recognition was not limited to sports. Students were appreciated for their performance in inter-school events that tested their knowledge, confidence, expression and creativity.
The recognised events included the Science Quiz, English Extempore, Spell Bee, Social Science Role Play and Bribooks. The varied categories showed how students continue to explore their abilities across different fields. They also underlined the importance of giving young learners opportunities to discover and strengthen their interests.
Encouragement to keep moving forward
Addressing the gathering, the school’s Vice-principal, Ms Puneeta Bhasin, congratulated the achievers and encouraged them to remain disciplined, consistent and determined. She emphasised that participation, perseverance and continuous effort are integral to meaningful success.
Her message placed the accomplishments within a larger learning journey. An award marks an achievement, but the habits developed along the way help students face future challenges with greater confidence.
The assembly also reminded students that every sincere effort contributes to growth and lays the foundation for future success.
