Recently, Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector 21 D, celebrated the vibrant festival of Teej with joy, warmth and festive fervour, bringing together cherished mothers and grandmothers for a memorable celebration of tradition, faith, and togetherness.
The programme commenced with prayers and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, setting a serene and auspicious tone for the festivities. This was followed by a melodious orchestra presentation that added a musical touch to the occasion. An insightful presentation on the significance of Teej further enriched the gathering, highlighting the cultural and traditional values associated with the festival.
Adding a spiritual dimension to the celebration, timeless teachings from The Bhagavad Gita were presented, emphasising the values of faith, devotion, duty and righteousness. The programme then moved into a lively patriotic dance performance that filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm and pride.


The celebration also provided an opportunity for mothers and grandmothers to showcase their creativity through a rangoli-making activity. With vibrant designs and artistic expressions, the participants brought colour and festive charm to the occasion. The energetic dandiya dance that followed added rhythm and excitement, encouraging everyone to join in the festive spirit.
A particularly touching moment was the felicitation of the grandmothers, offered as a heartfelt gesture of love, gratitude, and respect for their invaluable presence and contributions to the family. The highlight of the event was an enthusiastic dance performance by the mothers, whose energy and participation created an atmosphere of celebration and joy.












The festivities concluded on a colourful note with mehendi, as mothers and grandmothers adorned their hands with beautiful designs. The celebration beautifully captured the essence of Teej through faith, tradition, creativity, and togetherness, leaving the participants with joyful moments and cherished memories.
