Apeejay students showcase creativity at inter-school annual art competition

Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, hosted a vibrant celebration of creativity and  imagination in the its inter-school annual art competition. The event titled as Artistic Impressions 2026 brought together 138 young artists from 12 schools on a single platform.

The event was held in honour of the vision and enduring legacy of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji, a patron of art and culture. In her memory, the event offered young minds a meaningful platform to explore, express, and celebrate their artistic talents.

Participants showcased a diverse range of artistic creations, from colourful compositions and nature-inspired collages to intricate mandalas, expressive canvases, and impactful wall art. Each piece reflected the imagination, creativity, and individuality of the young artists, transforming the venue into a vibrant gallery of ideas, colours, and stories told through art.

In the competition, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad secured the first place in Collage Making event. The School was represented by Inaaya Gandhi. The same School bagged second position under an event titled Pattern of Peace. Pragun, a student of Class 5, represented the School. Adding to the victory, Apeejay’s kindergarten school, Rhythms, Greater Kailash II, also participated and secured the third spot in the tearing and pasting competition. The kindergarten school was represented by Trisha Shah. 

Accompanying teachers were also given the opportunity to participate in a special creative competition. To further enrich the experience, a dedicated workshop on creative strokes was organised for the teachers, allowing them to engage in the artistic process alongside their students and explore their creative expression.

The competition served as more than just a display of artistic talent, it became a celebration of imagination across schools, encouraging young participants to experiment with different mediums, styles, and themes. The presence of students from 12 different schools added to the diversity of ideas and artistic approaches on display.  

Extending heartfelt appreciation, the organisers thanked all participating schools, teachers, judges, and young artists for their contribution in making Artistic Impressions 2026 a memorable celebration of art and creativity. The event stood as a testament to the power of art in nurturing imagination, self-expression, and a sense of community among young learners.

Through initiatives like Artistic Impressions 2026, Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, continues to honour the legacy of art patrons like Rajeshwari Paul. The event reaffirmed the idea that imagination, when given the right platform, can leave a lasting impression — one stroke at a time.
