With an aim to nurture environmental consciousness and inspire students to adopt sustainable practices, the Environment Club of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar organised a Plantation Drive on the school campus. The initiative encouraged students to understand the importance of preserving nature while taking aan active role in creating a greener future.
The programme began with the distribution of saplings to students, setting the tone for an engaging and purposeful activity. Students enthusiastically participated in planting a variety of saplings across the school grounds, symbolising their commitment to environmental conservation. The drive witnessed the active participation of Principal Mr. A.K. Sharma, Vice Principal Ms. Loveleen Bagga, members of the Environment Club, teachers, and students, making it a collaborative effort towards promoting ecological responsibility.

As students carefully planted and watered the saplings, they were reminded that every tree contributes to cleaner air, richer biodiversity, and a healthier planet. The hands-on activity also reinforced the message that small individual actions can collectively make a significant impact on the environment.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. A.K. Sharma emphasised the indispensable role of trees in maintaining ecological balance and combating environmental challenges. He encouraged students not only to plant trees but also to nurture them with care, highlighting that protecting nature is a shared responsibility that extends beyond a single day or event.






Vice Principal Ms. Loveleen Bagga motivated students to become responsible custodians of the environment by adopting eco-friendly habits in their daily lives. She urged them to lead by example and inspire others to contribute towards conserving natural resources and protecting the planet.
The Plantation Drive concluded with a renewed sense of responsibility among students towards safeguarding the environment. More than just planting saplings, the initiative served as a valuable learning experience, reinforcing the significance of environmental stewardship, sustainability, and community participation. Through such meaningful activities, Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar continues to instil values of environmental responsibility and empower students to become conscious citizens committed to building a greener and more sustainable future.
