Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar celebrates Founder’s Day with reverence
Four students from the School were conferred the prestigious Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values
Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, paid deep reverence to the memory of its late founder and chairman Dr. Stya Paul, as the institution marked his 107th birth anniversary under the leadership of Principal Mr AK Sharma. The celebration reflected the soaring spirit and visionary philosophy that continue to define Dr. Stya Paul’s enduring legacy in Apeejay Education.
The commemoration began with a special prayer assembly organised in his honour, where Principal Mr AK Sharma, Vice Principal Mrs. Loveleen Bagga, along with parents, teachers, and students, paid heartfelt tributes to the revered founder. The assembly was followed by soulful renditions of his favourite bhajans, setting a reflective and devotional tone for the occasion.
The cultural programme that followed was thoughtfully designed to capture the timeless values and inspiring philosophy that Dr. Stya Paul stood for. Students presented thought-provoking messages rooted in moral values, along with a talk and a short skit titled ‘Soaring High – My Nature,’ complemented by a poem on the same theme.
A video chronicling Dr. Stya Paul’s remarkable contributions and inspiring life journey was also screened, offering students deeper insight into the Founder’s vision and achievements.
A key highlight of the day was the conferment of the prestigious Dr. Stya Paul Award for Human Values, presented to four students for embodying the values associated with the Founder’s legacy. The awardees:
–Guneet Gupta of Class 6
–Lavanya and Nanki of Class 10
–Arshavi Verma of Class 12
They were honoured with certificates, a copy of Dr. Stya Pauls book “Reflections in Time,” and a cash prize in recognition of their achievement.
During the programme, Principal Mr. AK Sharma read out an inspiring message from Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, President, Apeejay Education Society. In his address, he described Dr. Stya Paul as a true Karmayogi, whose life and ideals continue to inspire generations of students and educators alike. He urged students to draw inspiration from the Founder’s exemplary life and strive to make their own lives meaningful, purposeful, and worthy.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Vice Principal Mrs. Loveleen Bagga. She expressed sincere gratitude to the parents, teachers, and all those present for their gracious participation in making the celebration a memorable one.
Through this moving tribute, Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, reaffirmed its deep commitment to honouring the legacy of Dr. Stya Paul among Apeejayites.
