Ebullience and zest swathed the purlieu of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi in Jalandhar on its Annual Appreciation Day 2023. The entire show was based on the theme ‘Jashn-e-Zindagi’ which stands for ‘Celebrating Life’. It was beautifully showcased through myriad celebrations replete with music, dazzling dances, enactments and hues of colours amidst great zeal, vibrancy and elation.

Shri Rajiv Kumar Verma, PCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shaheed Bhagat Singh
Nagar, Punjab was the Honourable Chief Guest for the occasion. Dr. Sucharita Sharma,
Pro-Vice Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram, also graced the occasion with her
eminent presence. The Principals and Heads of other Apeejay Institutions also attended the
function.

The programme commenced with a floral welcome of the guests followed by the lighting of
the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, accompanied by Principal and other dignitaries.
The auspicious Ganesh Vandana marked the beginning of the celebrations.

Delivering his keynote address, Chief Guest, Sh. Rajiv Kumar Verma, PCS, Additional
Deputy Commissioner, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Punjab, appreciated the Apeejay
management, school principal, staff and students for putting up such a wonderful show. He

Further talking about building a healthy and progressive tomorrow for future generations, the

becoming a good professional, first become a responsible citizen of your country. That is
more essential. We all must plant at least five saplings in the nearby surroundings for a
cleaner and greener environment. After all, cleanliness is next to Godliness. Hence, say no
to plastic as well. It is a big hazard to Mother Earth, because plastic cannot be easily
disposed of.”
