fun-filled educational outing

It was a day of wagging tails, wide eyes and loud cheers as the youngest Apeejayites traded their classrooms for the big screen. Nursery and Kindergarten students of Apeejay School, Pitampura headed to PVR INOX for a special movie outing featuring their favourite heroes, the PAW Patrol.

The much-loved animated adventure, built around the motto “No job is too big, no pup is too small,” turned into more than just a movie for the little viewers. Dressed in their school uniforms and buzzing with excitement, the children boarded the school buses in the morning and reached the theatre accompanied by their teachers and staff.

As the lights dimmed and the story of Ryder and his team of brave pups — Chase, Marshall, Skye, Rubble and others — unfolded, the hall was filled with giggles, gasps and claps. For many, it was their first movie experience with friends. Between popcorn buckets and shared whispers, they cheered every time the pups worked together to solve a problem and help the community.

The film’s underlying message of courage, cooperation and community service resonated with the Apeejay curriculum for early years. The outing was also planned as a social learning exercise wherein students stood in a queue, shared seats, maintained decorum in a public space, and cared for peers during an off-campus activity.

By the end of the show, the children left with smiling faces, a few quoting their favourite pups, and memories of a day that was truly paws-itively delightful.
