The corridors of Apeejay School, Pitampura, came alive with energy and pride as the school hosted its annual exhibition. The theme of the event was ‘From Indus to AI: A Journey of Civilization, Innovation and Imagination’.

The event was graced by Prof. Vinita Jindal from the Department of Computer Science, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi, along with Dr. Shashank Shekhar Sinha, Publishing Director at Routledge (South Asia). Their inspiring words reminded the audience of the importance of honouring one’s roots while embracing the future.

Apeejay students showcased remarkable creativity through an impressive array of working models that traced India’s civilisational journey. In the exhibition, learners showed the planned cities and scientific advancements of the Indus Valley to the modern frontiers of robotics, space exploration, and Artificial Intelligence. Each display was a testament to months of dedicated research, teamwork, and imaginative effort, offering visitors a sweeping narrative that connected the past to a technology-driven future.

Adding vibrancy to the occasion, the celebration also featured a rich cultural programme that transported the audience through the ages. A thought-provoking skit titled ‘Chalchitra Darpan’ set the tone. It was followed by graceful folk dance performances celebrating India’s cultural heritage. The event concluded with a futuristic performance themed around Artificial Intelligence.

The seamless coordination of the event—from the exhibits to the cultural segments—was made possible through the collective efforts of the school’s talented students and teachers. This coordination created a memorable experience for all present.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mrs. Veena Goel commended the students for their hard work and creativity. She remarked that ‘From Indus to AI’ was not merely an exhibition but a proud reflection of the school’s identity and its vision for the future, capturing both where the students come from and where they are headed.

The exhibition stood as a fitting embodiment of the school’s guiding philosophy — rooted in the legacy of the past, while brightening the horizons of the future. Through this event, Apeejay School, Pitampura, demonstrated its commitment to nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a deep sense of cultural pride among its students. The exhibition equipped them with a forward-looking perspective essential for navigating an increasingly technology-driven world.

The event left a lasting impression on students, parents, and guests alike, reaffirming the institution’s role in shaping young minds.
