Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park commerates Kargil Vijay Diwas

The Interact Club, a student body of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park recently organized ‘Project Kargil Vijay Diwas’ on July 26 marking the 22 golden years of India’s victory against Pakistan in the Kargil War of 1999.

The Club organised intra-school competitions for classes 6-10 in the categories such as dance, music and poetry to pay homage to the heroes of the nation.

The event was graced with the presence of Major General Sanjay Soi (Retd.) as Chief Guest. He shared his experiences at the Indian borders and provided a detailed insight about the sacrifices made by the Indian soldiers at the Kargil War.

The session received an overwhelming response by the students witnessing more than 100 participants. The event was hosted by Ms. Ritu Mehta, Principal and Ms. Shalini Agarwal, Vice-Principal. Teacher in-charge Moumita Mallik Sen coordinated the session.
