“I was always passionate about Marketing and determined to realise my dreams…”

How has Apeejay Education helped you grow in your field?
Apeejay has served as one of the perfect catalyst to achieve my dream profile & dream job. I joined Unicharm India as a Trainee in marketing and now I am a Brand Executive and managing the flagship brand of Unicharm which is Mamypoko. During my work stint, the two most important things which have accelerated my growth are quality of education from my alma mater & my inquisitiveness to learn. I believe that it has helped me to excel in my professional as well my personal life. I am sure it will help me in future. In the next 10-15 years, I see myself as a Global senior Brand Manager of one of the leading MNCs. The learning I got at Apeejay has been quite helpful and fruitful.

Any memories about your placement?
Ofcourse. As this placement was one of the biggest challenges that I had in my academic career at that time. This was the field I wanted to go into and it was the only one shot I had. Placement process for Unicharm India was one of the most rigorous processes as it was a big pool placement. Around 200 students sat for the interview and the position offered by Unicharm India was only one. And I was the only person shortlisted.

Has Apeejay helped you prepare for the placement process?
Apeejay has helped me from the pre-interview process till my on-boarding and final joining. Apeejay had made sure that the process was smooth. It was quite a learning and enriching experience for me. During the placement time, the two things Apeejay helped me through were—the mental supportand the required training to crack the interview. Well trained & ever supporting faculty were one of the biggest assets of Apeejay who taught us the right strategy to tackle the interview. Second was in terms of the academic and the interview training that I got. We had 7-8 days training sessions where we interacted with industry leaders, got practical exposure through case studies & the mock interview sessions which really boosted my confidence.
