Apeejay School of Management enthusiastically welcomes 32nd PGDM Batch 

Apeejay School of Management (ASM) in Dwarka recently kicked off the Orientation Programme for the 32nd PGDM batch with great enthusiasm. The first day, meticulously planned by the Orientation Team, featured a seamless blend of introductions, inspirational speeches, and informative sessions to welcome the new students. The day commenced with the registration of students, setting the stage for engaging activities. The excited faces of the new batch reflected their eagerness to embark on this new academic journey.

Subsequently, Dr. Pragya Arya Tiwari, the emcee for the inaugural session, invited everyone to commence the event with the traditional lighting of the lamp. This symbolic gesture was followed by Dr. E.P Singh, Deputy Director of Apeejay School of Management, delivering the welcome address. His words of encouragement and insights into the institution’s vision set a positive tone for the day. Dr. Singh emphasised the importance of hard work and dedication, stating, “This journey will shape your future. Embrace every challenge and opportunity with an open mind and a determined heart.”

Prof. Ashok Ogra, Advisor AIMC, with over 45 years of experience in industry and academia, advised the younger audience to develop creative thinking and an analytical approach towards life problems. His seasoned perspective provided valuable insights for the new students.

Mr. Kumar Amit, Co-Founder and COO of Castler, then took the stage for the Inaugural Address. With his rich experience in various fintech ventures like Razorpay and Mobikwik, Mr. Amit inspired the students with his journey and the evolving landscape of the industry. He shared, “Innovation and resilience are key to success in today’s fast-paced world. Always be ready to adapt and seize new opportunities.”

The Motivational Address was delivered by Mr. Rajiv Puri, President of Indotag Solutions, who shared his remarkable professional journey that spans across continents and industries. His experiences, from Voltas Limited to launching leading brands like Revital and White Mischief Vodka, provided valuable lessons in resilience and innovation. Mr. Puri encouraged the students by saying, “Don’t be afraid to take challenges. Never lose hope and keep pushing forward, no matter how tough the journey gets.”

A brief yet insightful panel discussion took place in the auditorium, engaging students and setting the stage for future interactive sessions. Following this, Dr. Srirang Jha introduced the various clubs and committees, explaining their roles and how students can get involved. The respective area heads elaborated on club events, while Dr. Gaurav Dawar and Dr. Pooja Chaturvedi Sharma introduced the Business Plan Competition. Dr. Shweta Jha and Dr. Ranjit Kaur discussed the much-anticipated ASM Got Talent event.

The day concluded with the document collection process, ensuring all administrative formalities were completed efficiently. The Orientation Programme set the foundation for an exciting journey ahead for the 32nd PGDM batch.
