Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg celebrates Teachers’ Day with joy and gratitude
Students honour their mentors through heartfelt performances and inspiring tributes, celebrating the educators who shape young minds and inspire them to soar
Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm, warmth and heartfelt gratitude, paying tribute to its dedicated educators who play a vital role in inspiring, nurturing and shaping young minds.
The celebration was organised by the school’s Prefectorial Board as a special gesture of appreciation towards the teaching fraternity. The programme reflected the deep bond of respect and affection shared between students and their teachers and brought together a series of engaging and memorable activities.
The event commenced with a traditional tilak ceremony and pinning of badges, symbolising respect and honour for the teachers. The celebrations continued with a cake-cutting ceremony, adding to the festive spirit of the occasion.
Students expressed their gratitude through a vibrant cultural programme that featured a captivating skit, inspiring speeches, heartfelt poems and lively group dances. Each presentation conveyed a message of appreciation for the teachers and acknowledged their invaluable contribution to students’ academic and personal growth.
The celebrations also included group games and individual presentations, which added an element of fun and excitement to the occasion. The teachers enthusiastically participated in the activities, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter, camaraderie and cheerful moments.
The programme was graced by the presence of the school Principal, Mr Yashpal Sharma, Vice-principal, Ms Aarti Shorey Bhat, Primary Wing In-charge and Pre-primary Wing In-charge, whose participation further enhanced the significance of the celebration.
On the occasion, Mr Sharma conveyed the inspiring message shared by Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, extending warm wishes and appreciation to the teaching fraternity. The message acknowledged the commitment and dedication of educators and their important role in guiding students towards becoming confident, responsible and compassionate individuals.
The Teachers’ Day celebration concluded on a heartfelt note, leaving the teachers with cherished memories of a day dedicated to recognising their efforts and contributions.
