Reaffirming its commitment to nurturing responsible, confident, and compassionate leaders, Apeejay School, Kharghar, organised its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The prestigious event marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council and celebrated the ideals of leadership, integrity, accountability, and selfless service.
Held in an atmosphere of pride and inspiration, the ceremony reflected the school’s belief that leadership is not merely a position of authority but a responsibility that demands commitment, humility, and a willingness to serve others. The event provided an opportunity to recognise students who have demonstrated exceptional potential and entrusted them with the responsibility of leading by example.

The ceremony was graced by Lt. Col. Pankaj Kumar Singh (Retd.), Founder of Mustang Defence Academy, Pune, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he delivered an inspiring message on the true essence of leadership, urging students to cultivate discipline, resilience, perseverance, and integrity in every aspect of their lives. Drawing from his own experiences, he encouraged the young leaders to remain focused on their goals, embrace challenges with courage, and lead with character and conviction.
Welcoming the newly elected council members, Principal Dr. Sonali V. Walwadkar reminded the students that leadership is built on responsibility rather than privilege. She emphasised that the badges they wear symbolise accountability, dedication, and service to the school community. Encouraging the student leaders to become role models for their peers, she urged them to lead with humility, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose.

A significant highlight of the ceremony was the formal investiture of the newly elected Prefectorial Board, House Captains, Sports Captains, and School Appointees. The student leaders were ceremonially conferred with badges, sashes, and flags, symbolising the trust and confidence reposed in them by the school. They then took the solemn oath, pledging to uphold the values, traditions, and ethos of Apeejay School with sincerity, integrity, and unwavering commitment.
The ceremony served as a powerful reminder that leadership is about inspiring others through actions, making responsible decisions, and contributing positively to the school community. It also reflected the institution’s continuous efforts to provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership qualities, teamwork, confidence, and a sense of social responsibility.

The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving the gathering inspired and reaffirming Apeejay School, Kharghar’s unwavering commitment to empowering every learner to lead with purpose, serve with compassion, and strive for excellence.
Guided by its inspiring motto, “Soaring High is Our Nature,” the school continues to nurture future-ready leaders who possess not only academic excellence but also the values and vision to make a meaningful difference in society.
