The programme commenced with a dignified Guard of Honour, setting a solemn and patriotic tone for the occasion. This was followed by the ceremonial flag hoisting and the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of pride, respect and national unity. The school Principal, Dr Sonali Balwatkar, addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Independence Day. She reminded the students that freedom is not merely a privilege but also a responsibility. She urged them to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, unity, respect and service, and encouraged them to become responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth and progress.
