For Mrs. Shruti Bagga, Apeejay School, Noida isn’t just a school—it’s a legacy. With her husband, Vijay Bagga, being a distinguished alumnus, and both her children excelling in their academic and extracurricular pursuits in Apeejay School, Noida, she shares a deep-rooted connection with the institution. In this engaging conversation, she discusses Ranbir’s academic progress, Hrithima’s passion for languages and Kathak, and how the school’s dedicated teachers and thoughtful initiatives contribute to a well-rounded educational experience.  

Mrs. Bagga, Apeejay Noida seems to have a special place in your family’s heart. Can you tell us about your connection with the school?
Absolutely! My son, Ranbir, joined Apeejay Schoo, Noida in Class 2, and he has now been promoted to Class 3. My daughter, Hrithima, is currently in Class 10 and has been studying here since Class 3. My husband, Vijay Bagga, is also an alumnus of Apeejay—he was the commerce topper of the 1996-97 batch. So yes, you can say the school runs in our DNA!

 How has Ranbir’s academic journey been so far?
Ranbir has been doing exceptionally well. His class teacher has played a huge role in his progress, ensuring that his concepts are crystal clear. He enjoys Environmental Studies the most and has taken up football and art as extracurricular activities. He is very creative and excels in his artistic pursuits.

Hrithima seems to be a high achiever as well. Could you share more about her journey?

Yes, she has always been academically inclined. She was the topper throughout her school years and was selected as the Head Girl of the primary department when she was in Class 5. She has also been learning Kathak for the past 10 years. She has a deep love for languages, excelling particularly in English and Sanskrit. In fact, she has been the topper in Sanskrit!

What are your thoughts on the school’s teaching faculty and environment?
The teachers are doing a commendable job. I can vouch for Sushma Ma’am, who has been instrumental in Ranbir’s progress. The primary school teachers, in particular, were excellent in Hrithima’s formative years. The school environment is very warm and cooperative. Parents are heard, and initiatives like the Coffee Morning—where parents meet with the class teacher and principal to discuss their concerns—are wonderful additions.

What are Hrithima’s future aspirations, and what stream do you think she will opt for?
She is inclined towards science, but it’s too early to say whether she will take medical or non-medical. We’ll let her decide as she progresses.
