Apeejay professors presented research posters in the 72nd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress 

More than 3000 posters were presented in one of the biggest pharma conferences held in Nagpur

Dr. Anupama Diwan, Dr. Rani Mansuri and Dr. Narendra Yadav from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Apeejay Stya University, Gurgaon, presented their research posters at the 72nd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) held in Nagpur. Jointly organised by the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA) and the Department of Pharmaceutical Science, IPC is one of the biggest pharma conferences. 

Shri. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, graced the IPC 2023 inaugural ceremony. This year’s theme was ‘Access to Quality and Affordable Medical Products’ and the event was attended by more than 30,000 academicians, research scholars, industrialists from across the world. 

Amongst the 3000 research posters that were presented, Dr Anupama Diwan, Dean at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPS), Apeejay Stya University, Gurgaon, presented her research poster on ‘Formulation Development and In-Vitro Permeation Studies of Halobetasol Propionate Topical Formulation’.

Dr. Rani Mansuri, Assistant Professor at SOPS presented her paper on the topic ‘Computational Identification of novel potential inhibitors against Sterol C-24 methyltransferase of Leishmania donovani’.

Following Dr. Mansuri, Assistant Professor Dr. Narendra Yadav’s paper was on ‘Design, Preparation, and Evaluation of Enteric Coating Polymer Derived from Rice Straw’.

The three-day conference witnessed several brainstorming sessions. A special attraction was a massive Pharma Expo. Mega Pharma industries exhibited machinery and technology showcasing the live operations and demonstrations of working of machines and instruments, which is otherwise impossible to get a chance to see. This expo was open for all.
