‘Apeejay has made my son an all-rounder’

Brilliant student always makes for apple of one’s eyes. Their parents can’t stop gushing about how proud they feel across friends and family members.

For a Scholar Child like Saharsh Bhardwaj, academics has been a cakewalk at school, but like no war can be won alone, Saharsh too would not have done so brilliantly without the incredible support from his teachers and other staff at school who are never lagging behind in anyway, conveys Ashish Sharma, father of Saharsh Bhardwaj, class XI student.

Excerpts from the interview. 

Why did you select Apeejay as an admission choice?

Actually like any other parent, we also did several offline and online research for the best school. And there was a top level list for the best schools in Delhi NCR that included Apeejay in it. Although this school was little far away from my residence but the reputation and the legacy it holds is quite high, hence after consultation with our family and friends we decided this school will be the right choice for our child.

How are you preparing your son for upcoming boards?

We feel very blessed and grateful to the school teachers and staff for their uunconditional support. There is zero tension and zero anxiety for the boards in my child. There is no dilemma regarding board examination because the teachers have carved out a clear cut academic path which is really helpful to keep all the tension away.

What kind of best techniques teachers use at school?

Both the teachers and the principal of the school are really focused on building each student academically and strengthen their overall development. We have observed several positive changes in the school overtime, specially in terms of communication. Communication has been established with every parent and the child as a top most priority. We as parents have full confidence in the teachers and the principal of the school in rendering all possible reinforcement to my son.

 How often do you interact with your son regarding school?

Saharsh is our only son so the sole focus with regards to all types of interaction from our end is fulfilled all the time. Since my wife is also a teacher, she is already having an educational background of looking into the child’s growth and dealing with a student’s psychology. She is fully experienced in handling all the progress and consultations with our son on daily basis. We do interact with his class teacher and other subject teachers over WhatsApp call and messages and keep everything transparent.

Has Apeejay impacted your child positively?

Definitely! I would like to highlight that my son up till X standard never needed any tuitions or help from us regarding his studies. He scored gloriously in his X boards only owing to his teachers help and support. Saharsh did all his self study without any extra facilitation only because his teachers did an excellent job in making him learn the subject wise concepts well. We as parents never had to invest specifically in his studies.

Is school balancing academics and extracurricular activities well?

Yes. From the personality point of view, school encourages the children to participate in various extracurricular activities that are organized at school. My son is always encouraged to participate in cultural events and other celebration at school. Students are always inspired to take on extra responsibilities like CR and discipline and administration related prefect roles. We are very happy and grateful that our decision to pick this school for our child has been so fruitful. I really recommend this school to other parents for a good future of their child.
