Apeejay family pledges to soar higher on Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia’s birthday

Heartfelt wishes started to pour on the morning of November 02 from the students and faculty members of Apeejay Institute of Technology – School of Architecture & Planning (AIT-SAP), Greater Noida. All the members of AIT-SAP gathered to celebrate the birthday of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education Society and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, with great joy and reverence .

A remarkable personality, who is a beacon of inspiration, Mrs Berlia has devoted her life in shaping the nation with a global perspective. Her compassion knows no bounds as she champions causes close to her heart. Through her tireless efforts, she has garnered numerous accolades and awards, leaving an indelible mark on academia and industry. 

The special assembly commenced with Professor D.N. Bajpai, Executive Director at AIT-SAP, warmly welcoming the gathering. On behalf of everyone, he expressed heartfelt birthday greetings to the Chairperson and shed light on her multi-faceted personality. 

Professor Vivek Sabherwal, Director at AIT-SAP, urged the students to take a pledge to commit to the ideas that Mrs Berlia stands for.  Professor Sabherwal said, “I consider my honour and privilege having know Madam President for several years and have always benefited from her nuggets of wisdom. I have seen her wear different hats and weaving all different roles so effectively and in an inspiring way. I feel blessed with her divine grace.”

Following this, there was a cultural showcase of talent in which first year students Aarya’s and Bristirna’s performed Kathak and Assamese dance performances.

The ceremony concluded with the release of colourful helium balloons in the sky to symbolise limitless goals and dreams that Mrs Berlia has encouraged among all the Apeejay members. 

Chocolates were distributed among the students and staff thereby spreading boundless happiness and encouragement to soar high.
