Apeejay faculty bags NPTEL STAR Award

A moment of immense pride for Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar as Mr. Aman Deep Thakur, Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Management, has been honoured with the prestigious NPTEL STAR Award at IIT Kanpur. This esteemed recognition, conferred under the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, celebrates his exceptional contributions to online learning and professional development.

Mr. Thakur has demonstrated remarkable dedication to continuous learning by successfully completing 19 courses in Management and Marketing through NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning), a joint initiative by the IITs and IISc. His unwavering commitment to academic and professional growth has distinguished him as the only invited scholar from Punjab to receive this prestigious honour.

Extending her heartfelt congratulations, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA, said, “This is the result of relentless pursuit of knowledge.” She further emphasised the importance of continuous learning and skill enhancement, especially in the rapidly evolving field of education. Dr. Dhingra also highlighted that Apeejay College of Fine Arts remains dedicated to fostering an environment that nurtures intellectual growth and academic advancement among its faculty.
