Father-of-two Ajay Sheoran believes there is no school better than Apeejay Charkhi Dadri in the area. From the curriculum to the faculty and exposure given to students, everything is “wonderful”, says the father. In an interview, Sheoran, a businessman, whose son Renit studies in class 4, shares how the school promotes children’s all-round development. Edited excerpts:

What made you choose Apeejay Charkhi Dadri for your son?

My elder child Ananya also completed her schooling at Apeejay Charkhi Dadri in 2019. In my view, there is no school as good as Apeejay in Charkhi Dadri—the school is highly reputed and follows international standards. From the pedagogy to the activities, everything about the school is unique.

What was Ananya’s journey at the school like?

Ananya had a wonderful experience at school. She was the topper in class 12. Not only academics, but she was also interested in co-curricular activities. One of the most important things to build in a child is confidence and Apeejay takes care of that. Confidence is what takes you ahead in life. Even my son Renit’s confidence levels have been boosted significantly, thanks to the teachers.

Did Ananya need to join coaching classes?

No, neither of my children needed it. The teachers at Apeejay prepared Ananya very well. They are doing the same with Renit. Besides, their mother Vijeta is a teacher and helps them out with any subject when required.

What would you say about Renit’s progress?

He was slightly reluctant initially, but the teachers have brought a positive change in him. His teachers are brilliant and have been his source of motivation throughout. My son has developed a lot.

Does the school encourage participation in co-curricular activities?

Yes, the school provides a lot of exposure to students which helps in their all-round development. The school has given us no reason to complain.

What have the parent-teacher meetings been like?

Again, they have been fruitful. Teachers are well aware of children’s strengths and weaknesses and share everything in detail with parents. There is great mutual understanding.
