Students of Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, celebrate National Flag Adoption Day with patriotic songs, dance, poetry, and reflections on the values of the Tiranga

Recently, Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector 21 D, celebrated National Flag Adoption Day with immense patriotic spirit and enthusiasm through a special morning assembly that paid tribute to the Indian National Flag, the enduring symbol of the nation’s unity, pride, and identity. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the values embodied by the Tiranga and inspired students to deepen their respect for the country’s rich heritage.

The assembly commenced with students sharing the historical significance of 22 July, the day on which the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the National Flag in 1947. Through thoughtful presentations, they highlighted the journey of the Tiranga and its importance as a symbol of freedom, sacrifice, and national unity. Their confident speeches encouraged the audience to appreciate the legacy and ideals associated with the National Flag.

Adding to the patriotic atmosphere, students presented a heartfelt poem that beautifully expressed love and reverence for the nation. This was followed by a melodious patriotic song that resonated across the campus, filling the gathering with a sense of pride and devotion. The performances reflected the students’ deep emotional connection with the country’s national symbols.

One of the highlights of the celebration was a vibrant dance performance by the young learners of Class I. Dressed in colourful costumes inspired by the hues of the Tiranga, the children captivated the audience with their energetic movements and expressive presentation. Their performance symbolised respect, honour, and unwavering love for the National Flag, earning warm appreciation from everyone present.

Addressing the students and staff, the Principal spoke about the significance of the saffron, white, and green colours of the National Flag, along with the Ashoka Chakra at its centre. She explained how each element represents timeless values such as courage, peace, truth, harmony, and continuous progress. Encouraging students to practise these ideals in their everyday lives, she urged them to become responsible, compassionate, and socially conscious citizens who contribute positively to the nation.

The celebration concluded on a note of pride and reflection, leaving students inspired to uphold the dignity and honour of the Indian National Flag. Through informative presentations, cultural performances, and meaningful messages, the event successfully fostered a deeper sense of patriotism and reinforced the importance of preserving the values that unite the nation.
