Apeejay School, Kharghar installs the Interact Club office bearers for 2026–27

Recently, Apeejay School, Kharghar, hosted the Interact Club Installation Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 in a meaningful celebration of student leadership, responsibility, and community service. The occasion marked the formal induction of the newly elected office bearers, who will lead the club’s initiatives through the year with a shared commitment to the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self.  

The ceremony was graced by distinguished members of Rotary, including Rtn Dhananjay Sarkar, Titan President, and Rtn Arvind Kumar Sinha, Parivartan President, along with other esteemed Rotary representatives. Their presence added significance to the occasion and offered students an opportunity to engage with leaders who have consistently worked towards social welfare and community development.  

The programme began with a warm welcome to the guests, followed by the formal installation of the new Interact Club team. The office bearers received their badges and assumed their responsibilities amid applause from fellow students, teachers, and guests. The installation symbolised more than a change of leadership, it represented a pledge to serve others with empathy, integrity, and dedication.    

Addressing the gathering, the Rotary dignitaries spoke about the importance of young people stepping forward as changemakers. They encouraged the students to recognise that leadership is not limited to holding a position but is reflected in everyday choices through kindness, accountability, teamwork, and a willingness to contribute to the wellbeing of others. Their words inspired the newly installed members to approach their roles with purpose and sincerity.

The school Principal, Dr Sonali V. Balwatkar, addressed the gathering and congratulated the newly elected team. She highlighted the role of the Interact Club in helping students develop confidence, discipline, communication skills, and a sense of social responsibility. She urged them to uphold the values of compassion and service while working together to create a positive impact within and beyond the school community. 

The ceremony concluded on an enthusiastic and hopeful note, with the newly installed office bearers ready to take forward the club’s vision through meaningful projects and initiatives. The event reaffirmed Apeejay School, Kharghar’s commitment to nurturing responsible citizens who are prepared to lead with sensitivity, courage, and a strong sense of duty towards society.

As the Interact Club begins its journey for the session 2026-27, it carries with it the promise of purposeful action, collaborative leadership, and service that truly makes a difference.
