Diwali, one of the most significant festivals in our country, was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the pre-primary wing of Apeejay School, Kharghar. The festive celebrations created a joyful and vibrant atmosphere for the young learners.

The event featured a gala affair with students presenting a spectacular performance centered around the theme of Ramayana. The highlight of the celebration was a delightful Ramlila staged by the students. It was heartening to see the little ones bring the characters from the epic to life on stage, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.

Additionally, the young performers presented captivating folk dances that depicted the cultural richness of the states that Lord Shree Ram visited during his exile. The colourful and energetic dances not only entertained but also served the educational purpose of introducing the children to the diverse cultures and traditions associated with the festival.

The primary objective of organising such events was to instill a sense of awareness and appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. The school consistently strives for value-based learning, and this Diwali celebration was no exception. The thematic approach, focusing on the Ramayana, allowed the students to connect with the cultural and moral aspects of the festival.

The event was graced by the presence of parents and grandparents who attended in large numbers. They were not only witnesses to the artistic talents of their little ones but also active participants in the festive spirit. Raving reviews poured in from the attendees, expressing admiration for the performances of each character and the enchanting dance routines.

In conclusion, the celebration was a resounding success, achieving its goal of combining entertainment with education. Through such initiatives, the school continues to foster a sense of cultural pride and values among the young minds, ensuring a holistic learning experience.
