Laughter echoed through the auditorium, smiles masked unshed tears, and every corner of the Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC), Dwarka, resonated with memories as the institute came together to bid an emotional farewell to the graduating batch of 2026. More than just a ceremony, the farewell was a celebration of friendships, shared dreams, unforgettable moments, and the journey that transformed a group of students into media professionals ready to step into the world.

The afternoon began on a nostalgic note as the student hosts reflected on the bittersweet nature of farewell moments that mark not an end, but the beginning of a new chapter. They warmly welcomed the dignitaries, including Prof. K.G. Suresh, Professor Emeritus, AIMC, Prof. Ashok Ogra, Advisor, AIMC, and Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, AIMC, along with the faculty members and esteemed guest faculty whose guidance and encouragement had shaped the students’ journey over the past year.

Addressing the graduating class, Director Prof. Sajal Mukherjee inspired students to embrace the future with confidence, curiosity, and creativity. His words reminded them that while classrooms may be left behind, the lessons learned at AIMC would continue to guide them throughout their professional lives. Prof. K.G. Suresh shared a thoughtful reflection on the true purpose of education, emphasising that it is not merely about earning a degree but about becoming compassionate, resilient, and responsible individuals capable of making a meaningful difference in society.

Featuring cherished photographs and videos from classroom sessions, media productions, field visits, college events, candid moments, and everyday campus life, the montage beautifully captured the essence of the graduating students’ journey.
