A humble tribute to an iconic soul, a true karmayogi
Apeejay schools across the nation pay rich tribute to the beloved Founder-Chairman Dr Stya Paul on his 13th Punya Tithi

Words fall short in praise of Dr Stya Paul’s rich contribution to the field of education. Overcoming countless obstacles in his life, he built the Apeejay Education empire which has been supplying the nation with the finest of young minds and characters over the past 30 years.
It is only apt therefore to honour the revered soul on his Punya Tithi and pledge to walk by his ideals in life. Apeejay School, Rama Mandi in Jalandhar paid a heartfelt homage to the Founder-Chairman on his 13th Punya Tithi. A solemn prayer meeting was organised in the school compound. It commenced with a floral tribute to the noble soul by Principal, Mr. AK Sharma, who was joined alongside by the Vice Principal, staff and students. The school choir sang some of Dr Paul’s favourite bhajans under the able guidance of music teacher Ms. Nidhi Sharma. The soulful rendition created a perfect ambience to devote the thought for the day to the great man and remember the way he shaped up institutions of such repute throughout the nation.




The illustrious journey of the great visionary was also shown to the students through a video presentation. Principal Mr. A. K. Sharma apprised everyone about the life and journey of the exemplary man. In his speech he mentioned, “Dr Stya Paul ji’s vision and simplistic approach towards life with which he connected with every member of the Apeejay institutions was simply remarkable. I urge all staff and students to follow the path, which our revered Chairman Sir had carved with his hard work, grit and determination.”





Poignant tributes were also paid to beloved Founder-Chairman’s memory in Apeejay School, Model Town, Jalandhar. Mr Malkiat Singh, Principal of the school, offered floral tributes to the revered soul and reminded students to strive to become as humble and hardworking as Dr Paul was. He said, “Dr Paul was a human being unlike a thousand. He tirelessly worked for the upliftment of students in the nation. His extraordinary contribution towards education in the country will always be remembered. On this solemn occasion, I pay my respects to the great soul.” The assembly concluded with the school choir playing some melodious bhajans, which resonated the most with Dr Paul’s heart.






In Apeejay School Noida, a special assembly was organised to commemorate the Punya Tithi. Vice Principals, Ms. Amrita Hajela and Ms. Sonal Srivastava, along with Primary In-charge, Ms. Smriti Samuel, paid a heartfelt floral tribute to the venerable soul. Both teaching and non-teaching staff of the school also paid obeisance to the memory of the Founder-Chairman. A delightful musical performance of some of Dr Paul’s favourite bhajans put all in an emotional frame of mind.
The Vice Principals apprised the students about Dr Paul, who was a true karmayogi and a simple soul with a great vision. Apart from his educational merit, he was also a humanitarian person and a compassionate leader. Together, the Vice-Principal’s encouraged students to emulate the lasting legacy of strong morals, hard work and excellence Dr Paul left behind.

Simultaneously, Apeejay School, Kharghar also paid a heart-warming tribute in reverence of the Founder-Chairman. School coordinators and staff members offered floral tributes to the great pioneer of education. A prayer meeting commenced with iconic songs Vishwapati Ke Dhyan Mein and Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye sung soulfully by the school choir.

Principal Ms Tejaswini Katdare informed the students about the struggle filled life of Dr Paul ji and his infinite determination to bring about a change. She said, “Dr Paul was undeniably an embodiment of love, compassion, moderation and philanthropy. He was a visionary with farsightedness coupled with unflinching dedication and determination. Not only was he a profound intellectual, but also a competent administrator, a benevolent social-worker and an eminent educationist. Dr Stya Paul’s forays in the field of education exhibited meticulous planning, concern for detail and flawless execution. Each of the institutions set up by him was an act of love and he nurtured them to success by creating a family-like environment through his personal touch, and a shared vision of excellence. I hope all students learn from Dr Paul’s life and try to imbibe his qualities to live a happy life and give back to the world.”
