A day to celebrate the tecky inside you

The new-age is all about technology as computers have made modern life so easy.  Thanks to the boon of technology, we can work globally while sitting in the comfort of our home. 

Apeejay School, Noida, is aware about the deep seated impact of technology in upgrading human life and skill. The school also knows that with the advent of coding, the upcoming years will see a higher technological revolution.

Keeping this in mind, the school recently hosted ‘Code 2022 – a confluence of digital experts’. The two-day annual inter-school computer symposium witnessed participation from 31 prestigious schools from across Delhi-NCR.

The fest consisted of over a dozen exciting events such as movie making, Code++, gaming, keynote, robotics, AI/ML and fun quizzes poised alongside web-designing, robowars and other IT  events. 

Mr. R K Singh, Managing Director at CPI Satcom Antenna Technologies Asia Pvt. Ltd. presided over as the Chief Guest for the event.  The eminent panel of judges included IT industry stalwarts namely Ms. Ekta Saxena, Mr. Nirjhar Virendra, Mr.Vidhu Popli, Mr. Kushagra Agarwal, Mr. Shrey Batra, Ms. Anukriti, Ms. Mehak Agarwal, Mr. Raghav Atrrey, Mr. Dhruv Sharma,  Mr. Nabeel, Mr. Akshat Talwar, Mr. Firas Qazi, Mr. Sayak Deb, Mr. Amaiya Singhal and Mr. Vedant. 

The tech-fest saw technological creativity at its best as the participants showcased their IT skills in unprecedented ways. The events received an overwhelming response from the participating schools. The panel of judges were amazed at the high level of the competition. The creative, design, and analytical capabilities of the participants left them spellbound.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. AK Sharma, Principal of Apeejay School, Noida, introduced and felicitated the Chief Guest and welcomed the panel of judges. He congratulated the school organising team for successfully putting forward another challenging event. He rightly pointed that technology has been playing a vast role in shaping our way of life and as students one must learn about technology for it has a pivotal role in the coming years. With these enriching words of wisdom, the Principal declared the fest open.

Chief Guest Mr. R K Singh expressed his gratitude and congratulated the digital leaders of tomorrow. He shared the path-breaking IT advancements that ISRO is consistently making in the field of making unmanned rockets and etching India in world-wide glory.

The IT fest witnessed a top level IT skills competition among the participants. After an intense ‘techy’ battle that went across twenty plus fields in a span of two days, the list of winners was prepared. 

The prizes were awarded during the valedictory celebration by Chief Guest, Mr. R.K.Singh, Ms Ritu Kohli, Director, Apeejay School, Noida, Ms Amrita Hajela, Vice Principal of the school and Ms. Smriti Samuel, the school’s Primary Incharge. 

 A special highlight of the valedictory ceremony was the light and sound show put up by the members of the ‘CODE-22’ club. Shabd Sahni, President of the ‘CODE-22’ Club presented the vote of thanks.

The fest was a great success that helped in polishing the IT skills of the students as well as instilling in them a love for technology.  Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park bagged the overall winners trophy.
