A day of full of pride, reverence and shared values

Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, came alive with pride and enthusiasm, as the school community gathered to celebrate the birthday of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University. The occasion marked a day of reverence and admiration for the visionary leader.

The day commenced with a special morning assembly, where Mr. AK Sharma, Principal of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, delivered a heartfelt message on behalf of Mrs  Berlia to the Apeejay family. In his address, he emphasised the visionary leader’s remarkable journey, following in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Stya Paul Ji, and her unwavering commitment, dedication, and determination, which have elevated Apeejay to remarkable heights.

The celebration was not just a time for merriment but also a moment to reflect on the values of kindness, humility, and happiness.

Mrs. Aarti Shorey Bhat, Vice Principal of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, along with the staff and students, took a pledge to embody these qualities and be helpful towards others, ensuring that the spirit of Mrs Berlia’s leadership resonates throughout the school.

A collective prayer echoed through the school premises, wishing the Chairperson a long, healthy, and happy life. The entire school community came together to extend their good wishes and blessings to the inspirational leader.

The youngest members of the Apeejay family, added an extra touch of warmth to the occasion. They wished Mrs Berlia a ‘Happy Birthday’ by singing delightful birthday songs and released vibrant, colourful balloons into the air, symbolising their shared joy and celebration.

To enhance the sweetness and specialness of the day, chocolates were distributed among the students and staff, creating lasting memories and reinforcing the sense of togetherness within the Apeejay community.
