The much-anticipated Sports Day organised by Apeejay Institute of Design (AID) was a resounding success, bringing together students and faculty for a day filled with excitement, competition, and teamwork. The event was a perfect blend of sportsmanship, skill, and unity, reinforcing the importance of physical fitness and camaraderie.
The event featured a wide range of sports and games, ensuring there was something for everyone. From exhilarating track races to engaging team games, students showcased their athletic abilities with great enthusiasm. The diverse lineup of activities included both competitive sports and fun-filled events, allowing participants of all skill levels to shine. The energy and determination displayed by the students made every match and race an electrifying experience.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the event was the overwhelming sense of team spirit among participants. Students not only competed with zeal but also cheered for their peers, creating a lively and supportive atmosphere. The emphasis on sportsmanship was evident as competitors displayed respect, fairness, and encouragement toward one another. The event fostered a sense of unity, highlighting that sports are not just about winning but also about learning, teamwork, and perseverance.

The smooth and efficient execution of Sports Day was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the organising committee and volunteers. Every aspect, from scheduling the events to setting up the venues, was meticulously planned. Transitions between events were seamless, ensuring a hassle-free experience for both participants and spectators. The excellent coordination among organisers and volunteers contributed to the overall success of the event, making it a memorable occasion for all.
Sharing her view, Shreya Pandey, a GDP IInd sem Foundation student expressed, “We extend our sincere gratitude to our respected Director Ma’am, whose unwavering support and encouragement has made this event possible. Her vision and leadership in promoting sports and physical education in our institution are truly inspiring. We look forward to even more thrilling sports days in the future as the day is a harbinger of healthy competition and encourages teamwork in us.”

Another student Shiksha Negi from PGDP IInd sem -Graphic mentioned, “We had an amazing experience participating in “Sports Day” organised by our institute. The event was well-planned, with a variety of activities catering to different interests and skill levels. The energy and enthusiasm among the participants and organisers created an exciting and motivating atmosphere. The friendly competition, sportsmanship spirit, and encouragement from the faculty made the event even more memorable. It was a great opportunity to bond with classmates outside the classroom, develop new skills, and showcase our talents. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I look forward to participating in more such events in the future!”
