Apeejay students add new feathers of achievements 

Students of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus bag top positions in ‘PLASMA 2023’, an annual inter-college competition

Students of  Apeejay  Institute of  Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar brought laurels to their Institute by winning top positions and runners-up trophy in various events in the recently concluded inter-college competition ‘PLASMA 2023’. The competition was organised by the PG Department of Computer Science & IT of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar.  

With great zeal and enthusiasm, Apeejay students participated in several competitions including IT Quiz, Web Portal Development, Logic Whirlpool, Tech GD, and IT Skills. The participants put in their best efforts to showcase their talents and skills at each of these events. The entire team was highly motivated and worked tirelessly to ensure that they put on a great show.

Their enthusiastic participation and hard work led them to secure top positions in various events. Himanshu Jindal of  MCA IV won first prize in Test Your Technical Skills, while Subhankar Chakraborty and Akansha Tyagi from B. Tech programme as well as Jasdeep Singh of MCA programme secured second place in the IT Quiz event. In the Web Portal Development event, Digamber Jha of MCA IV semester and Nandini Sharma of BCA VI semester achieved second position. In Logic Whirlpool, Amandeep Singh and Karandeep S Bhatti of B. Tech VI semester won the third place. Purnima of BBA semester II also won third place in the Tech GD event.The competition witnessed the participation of several renowned colleges across the state.

Congratulating the students, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, expressed, “The very purpose of participation in such events is to unearth the talent of students. These events provide ample opportunities to students who want to excel in their interest area and nurture multiple skills for the future.” 

He further congratulated the faculty coordinators of the Cultural Committee including Mr. Daljeet Singh Matharu (In-charge & Cultural Head), Mr. Pahulpreet Singh, Ms. Rajinder Kaur, Ms. Parmjit Kaur and Mr.Gurpreet Singh for their efforts.
