Kaifi Malik, an alumna of Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka, pursued a PGDM with specialisations in Finance and Marketing. During her time on campus, she emerged as a confident leader, taking on key roles such as President of the Finance Club and learning from hands-on experiences like presentations, business model assignments, and alumni interactions. Today, as a Wealth Manager at Prognostic Financial Pvt. Ltd., she reflects on how ASM shaped her professional journey.
I pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, with specialisations in Finance and Marketing. The experience truly transformed me. I became much more confident and learnt to manage teams efficiently. Earlier, I would get nervous while leading, but now I manage a team of 17 interns at work, guiding them through their projects with clarity and ease.

What role did your faculty and academic structure play in this transformation?
A massive role! The professors were excellent. The course was very holistic, packed with assignments, presentations, and business model exercises. It pushed me to upgrade my skills and prepare for real-world challenges.
Beyond academics, what was campus life like for you?
Campus life was vibrant! I was the President of the Finance Club, which was one of the most exciting roles I took on. Organising events for our batch and juniors gave me hands-on leadership exposure. We also had alumni meetups and a lot of engaging club activities that helped me build meaningful connections.
Tell us a bit about your current role and daily responsibilities.
I work as a Wealth Manager at Prognostic Financial Private Limited. My primary responsibilities include managing client portfolios and offering Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Alternative Investment Services (AIS). I also lead a team of 17 interns, guiding them with their tasks and projects.
Looking back, what would you say is ASM’s biggest contribution to your journey?
The confidence and the clarity I gained. ASM helped me grow both personally and professionally. From supportive faculty to hands-on academic challenges and leadership roles in student clubs—it prepared me for everything I face in the professional world today.
