It’s believed that every year brings in new happiness, new goals and new achievements. The saying came true for 11 students of School of Management Sciences (SoMS), Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram. These 11 students have been selected by INSPLORE, a talent acquisition partner for multinational and leading Indian businesses as well as an expert in financial advisory, for a paid internship.
Students pursuing their Bachelors in Professional Accounting, Marketing, Financial Markets, among other courses will be going for a two-month internship starting from January 2022. The interns will be paid a stipend ranging from Rs 4000 to 15,000 per month based on their performance.
Excited about starting her internship, Khushi Jha, first year BBA Financial Markets student with SoMS said, “Through this internship, I want to gain a lot of industry experience. I also wish to enhance my networking and communication skills. As I am looking to pursue a career in financial management, I feel this internship will help me understand the sector in-depth. This will be an addition to my CV.”
Another first year student, Moksh Dheri, pursuing BBA in Financial Markets, said, “This will be my first paid internship and I am really excited and looking forward to it. I am sure this internship will help me learn more about the financial market that will help me crack many more interviews in the financial sector.”
“It was a great feeling when I received the confirmation mail. I think as a first year student it’s a really good opportunity for me to have technical knowledge and industry experience. Through this internship, I will try to make the most of it. As my future plan is to settle abroad and even start my own firm, this will help me have an in-depth understanding about a lot of national and international clients,” Ayushi Bhatia, first-year B Com student with SoMS.
On successful completion of the work-from-home internship, high performers will be offered a full-time job with a pay package of Rs 6 lakh per annum.
