School is often considered a second home for a child due to the nurturing and supportive environment it provides. “Like a home, this school plays a critical role in instilling moral values and ethical behaviour, guiding children to distinguish right from wrong,” shares Jyotikala Shivarkar whose daughter Saanvi studies in class VII at Apeejay School, Kharghar.
Read on to learn how children have access to a support system that includes teachers, counselors, and peers here.
Why did you choose Apeejay for admission?
It is one of the best schools in Navi Mumbai. The school is very good in academics and provides a lot of opportunities for co-curricular activities.
How are the teachers here?
The teachers are well-qualified, compassionate, kind and very cooperative.
How are the school infrastructure and facilities?
The overall school infrastructure is good, and it is well-equipped with laboratories, a library, computer labs, and outdoor grounds.
Which extracurricular activities does your child enjoy?
My ward enjoys participating in Olympiads, Spell Bee competitions, and Inter-house competitions like poem recitation, English declamation, Science quizzes, and theatrics.
How has your child’s journey been so far?
We are very much satisfied with her academic progress. She has developed good skills in writing and speaking and in exercising leadership. Classes on ACP (Awakened Citizen Programme ) help her to get a better understanding of social well-being, making a difference in society, and developing values like kindness, empathy, confidence, and patriotism.

Do you feel Apeejay is like a second home for your child?
Yes, because she feels happy and safe and doesn’t want to bunk the school.
Are you happy and satisfied as a parent?
Yes, we are satisfied and happy with the school education experience and we are lucky that she is a student of Apeejay.
