Advik Kumar, a new student in Class 9 at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, is already settling in smoothly. His mother shares insights into his progress and experiences, reflecting on his journey so far.
How has Advik’s experience been since joining Apeejay Mahavir Marg?
The exposure here is great. He has quickly adjusted and feels very comfortable. The school has recognised his achievements, and just like at his former school, he’s been selected for the school’s prefectorial board.

What values does he gain from the school’s education?
He’s been playing a lot of basketball with the school team. In fact, he recently played in the zonals, representing the school with pride. The opportunities here are really helping him grow, both academically and in extracurriculars.
What’s your take on the teachers?
We’ve only had one parent-teacher meeting so far, but the feedback was fantastic. The teacher was incredibly encouraging and motivated both Advik and me as a parent. The school has also created a separate section for newcomers, giving every student an equal chance to shine, which we’re really happy about.
Advik was also an alumnus of this school during his pre-primary years. Do you have any memories from that time?
Yes, he studied here during his pre-primary years. I still remember how his teacher encouraged him back then. He got a lot of stage exposure through activities like recitation and drawing competitions. The school laid a solid foundation for his bright future, even at that early age.

How has the Principal contributed to this experience? Any new vision?
She’s extremely welcoming. There was a lot of paperwork during the admission process, but she was always there to listen and was easily accessible. She personally attended to my child and seems to know every student. As a parent, it’s comforting to know I can always meet her when needed.
