Colourful attire, exuberant smiles, fun-filled activities and delicious confectionery – that’s what the Apeejay Diwali celebrations are all about.

Immersing in the festive spirit,  Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, recently organised a special event ‘Razzle Dazzle 2.0’ for students, parents and grandparents. The event marked the onset of the festive season with fun-filled activities.

On this eventful occasion, the celebrations started with seeking blessings from Goddess Lakshmi.

To mark the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair, parents and grandparents showcased the spirit of Diwali by participating in activities like flameless cooking, diya making, rangoli making, toran making and decorations wholeheartedly.

Further, students presented a scintillating dance performance and their parents joined them for a ramp walk which added much exuberance and brought great joy to the audience.

Amidst the celebration, the main attractions of the day were the corners of tattoo stalls, fun-filled games and food. Mothers enjoyed the game of Tambola with their kids and friends. The evening was filled with joy, fun and happiness.

Concluding the event, Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra, Princiapl of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi thanked the teachers and parents for making this pre-Diwali bash a grand show.

In her address she said, “Now-a-days parents and children spend very less time with each other. Just to keep everyone smiling together, we started Razzle Dazzle last year. It was a fun-filled day with students, parents and grandparents. Everyone went home with a smile and truck load of memories till Razzle Dazzle 3.0.”

The Diwali event was indeed, peppy, creative and culturally diverse. In a nutshell, the occasion turned out to be a perfect amalgamation of happiness and great bond with family and friends, laying the foundation for camaraderie.
