Punjab school bids adieu to its batch of 2022-2023

In a ceremony, educators advised students to count on moral values when faced with challenges

Apeejay School, Rama Mandi in Jalandhar organised a farewell ceremony titled ‘Rukhsat’ for its outgoing batch of 2022-23. The event was held in the school’s auditorium for the students of class 12.

The ceremony commenced with an auspicious lamp lighting followed by a prayer. The day was made special for the students through a cultural programme inclusive of speeches, dance, poems, games and songs. Students also looked back at some beautiful moments spent in the school through a musical parody as it showcased joyous moments of the students and teachers together.  

The school’s Principal Ms Sangeeta Nistandra along with Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director at Apeejay Institute of Management & Technology blessed the outgoing batch for their bright future ahead. Further, they shared their words of wisdom with them and advised that students should never forget the moral values learnt in the school as these will help them go a long way.

During the event, Sumit Singh Johal was chosen as Mr Apeejay, Yugta won the title of Miss Apeejay, Haimanpreet bagged the honour of Miss Elegant and Jashandeep won Mr Well Dressed. In addition to this, Krishna Pahuja was selected as Mr Handsome while Disha won the title of Miss Well Dressed.

Students were also awarded with special tags and certificates. And so, the Award of Punctuality was given to Gursimar Singh Chahal, Miss Talented was bestowed upon Chahat Sanghu and Miss Gorgeous was Venuka. The title for Miss Congeniality was bagged by Arveen Kaur Bhatti and Ms Industrious and Diligent was given to Jasleen Parmar. Her classmate, Sukhwinder Singh was named Mr. Industrious and Diligent.  

Finally, the programme culminated with a Punjabi MashUp.
