Paying homage to the visionary

Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, solemnly observed the 16th Punyatithi of Dr Stya Paul, Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, a visionary educationist, philanthropist, and nation-builder whose legacy continues to inspire generations. The prayer meeting, inspired by the timeless words of Allama Iqbal, Tu Shaheen Hai, Parwaaz Hai Kaam Tera, Tere Saamne Aasmaan Aur Bhi Hain, the gathering celebrated the visionary spirit, enduring values, and remarkable legacy of the illustrious educationist and philanthropist.

The ceremony was attended by the school Principal, Mr AK Sharma, Vice-principal Ms Loveleen Bagga, members of the teaching faculty, administrative staff, and support personnel. The gathering commenced with floral tributes offered to Dr. Stya Paul as a mark of respect and gratitude for his extraordinary contributions to education and society.

Adding a deeply emotional touch to the occasion, the recorded rendition of Dr Stya Paul’s favourite bhajan, sung by Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, was played during the prayer meeting. The soulful presentation evoked a sense of devotion and remembrance among all present. 

Further enriching the spiritual atmosphere, Ms Nidhi Sharma, the Music teacher, presented a series of devotional bhajans cherished by Dr Stya Paul. Her heartfelt rendition filled the venue with serenity and inspired reflection on the values that guided the founder’s life and work.

On the occasion, the school Principal read out the message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia and reflected on the inspiring journey of Dr. Stya Paul. He highlighted his visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to quality education, and dedication to nurturing generations of learners. He emphasised that the most meaningful tribute to Dr. Stya Paul would be to uphold and practice the values, principles, and ideals he championed throughout his life.

The prayer meeting concluded on a note of gratitude and inspiration, reaffirming the Apeejay fraternity’s commitment to carrying forward Dr. Stya Paul’s vision of excellence, service, and holistic education.
