For many families, choosing the right school is about finding a nurturing space that combines strong academics with all-round development. For Mrs. Shashi Chabbra, a retired teacher, this decision carried even more weight. After her grandson, Ayansh Chabbra, spent his early schooling years in the UK, she decided to enrol him in Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Model Town, Jalandhar for his UKG year. In this conversation, she shares why Apeejay stood out, how Ayansh has adjusted, and the visible progress she has seen in him. Read Here:
Mrs. Chabbra, could you tell us a little about Ayansh’s schooling journey before Apeejay?
I am a retired teacher and I feel Ayansh must receive in-depth and holistic education. I value structured, engaging, and skill-focused learning. That’s why we decided to enrol both my grandson and granddaughter to Apeejay in India.
What made you choose Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld in particular?
Apeejay is one of the oldest and most reputed schools in Jalandhar. I had heard a lot about its quality from the community. Every time I checked, something exciting was happening – whether it was a trip, a cultural event, or a festival celebration. This vibrancy convinced us it was the right choice.
How has Ayansh adjusted to his new school environment?
Beautifully! He is very happy to go to school every morning, wakes up with enthusiasm, and never resists attending. The teachers are extremely accommodating and cooperative, which has made his transition smooth.
Have you noticed any improvements in him since joining Apeejay?
Yes, in every way – reading, listening, speaking, and social skills. His confidence has grown a lot. He even participates in dance and speech activities, and has won prizes.
How do you feel about the school’s teaching approach and activities?
The instruction is excellent, and there is always something engaging going on. From classroom activities to festive events like Raksha Bandhan, the school ensures that learning is joyful. This combination of academics and extracurriculars is exactly what children need to thrive.
