In this interview, she shares her experience at ASU. Read edited excerpt:
What are the two best parts about the university?
The two best parts about the university are the supportive faculty and the overall learning environment. The teachers are approachable and genuinely try to help students improve. I also really like how the university focuses on practical exposure instead of only theoretical learning, which makes studies more interesting and useful for the future.
How does the university help you pursue your hobbies and goals?
The university gives students many opportunities to pursue their hobbies and goals through different clubs, events, competitions, and extracurricular activities. It encourages students to participate in activities beyond academics, which helps build confidence and creativity. I would especially like to mention the E-Cell of our college, which gave me the opportunity to participate in a national-level competition and visit the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. It was a great learning experience and helped me gain more exposure and confidence.
How do teachers help you develop different skills?
The teachers at Apeejay Stya University are very helpful, supportive, and approachable. They always guide us whenever we need help, whether it is related to academics, skills, or career goals. One thing I really appreciate is that they encourage students to take initiative and participate in different activities, workshops, and events. Whenever we want to conduct something new in the university, they motivate and support us throughout the process. Their guidance has helped many students become more confident, explore their interests, and work towards their goals.
How has the university changed you as a person and added to your growth ?
Apeejay Stya University has changed me a lot as a person by making me more confident and independent. A major reason behind this growth has been the presentations, competitions, and different activities conducted in the university. Being a part of Elaan as both an organiser and one of the main heads gave me valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, communication, and managing responsibilities. The university also gave us opportunities to conduct events and seminars, which helped me improve how I present myself and interact with people. These experiences have not only helped me grow professionally but also personally by making me more confident, responsible, and better at handling different situations.
