Recently, the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad has declared the result of NIPER JEE 2022 exam. And three students of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS), Apeejay Stya University qualified the NIPER JEE 2022 examination with flying colours. This entrance exam is conducted for earning admission into various Masters, PhD and Integrated PG-PhD programs.

Excited about this achievement, Ankit Mehra, who secured an All India Rank of 118 said, “I didn’t expect I would secure such an amazing rank. After seeing my result, I was on cloud nine. I am thankful to all my mentors, classmates as well as my family, who consistently supported and encouraged me.”

He further explained his preparation strategy. “I solved several previous years’ question papers and practiced mock tests. Consistently, revising notes is important. I also used to have discussions on different topics with my friend Doni, also a GPAT top ranker. Lastly, maintaining a balanced diet is equally necessary,” Ankit Mehra added.

Doni Sinha, who also achieved a top rank in the GPAT 2022 exam, has performed exceptionally well in this year’s NIPER exam. In the GPAT 2022 exam she got an All India Rank (AIR) of 26. Sharing about her preparation strategy, the 22-year-old said, “One thing I focused on was revising each and every topic everyday. I used to solve a lot of previous years’ question papers. Doing so, candidates get an idea of what kind of questions can be expected as well as which topics are important. Also, a study plan is a must, otherwise you will get lost in what subjects you have already studied and what you haven’t.”

Resonating a similar view like his batchmate Doni, Rajat Pai said, “I used to revise daily and solve previous years’ question papers. In NIPER, speed matters as you need to solve 200 questions in 120 minutes. Mock tests helped me a lot in terms of increasing my speed as well as preparation. After giving mock tests, I used to analyse my mistakes and discuss doubts with my friends.”

Another achiever, Ankit Kumar shared why it’s important to solve mock test papers. He said, “Mock test papers are crucial in terms of your preparation. It helps in bringing accuracy in your preparation as well as efficiency in terms of solving questions. They are the best methods for revision. I used to solve one mock test paper every week and everyday I used to dedicate 2 hour for NIPER exam preparation. ”

Ankit Kumar also mentioned that the maximum number of questions appeared from the Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology section. Passionate about pursuing a career in the Pharmaceutical field, the 23-year-old aspires to go for Master’s in Pharmaceutical Science after completing his course in Apeejay.
