G20 Summit: Schools, colleges and offices in Delhi likely to switch to virtual mode

In view of the G20 Leaders’ Summit which will take place next month , all the schools, colleges and offices in Delhi may be asked to switch to virtual mode.

According to reports, the schools and colleges may be asked to go online and offices may operate  in a work from home model between September 8 and 11 in view of the mega event.

The G20 summit will be held in the Bharat Mandapam convention centre in the capital. The movements of vehicles may also be restricted in a few areas and people are likely to be permitted for only essential travel and activities for the four-day period.

The G20 consists of 19 nations alongside the European Union, collectively representing every inhabited continent. Together, they command an impressive share, accounting for 80 per cent of the world’s GDP, 75 per cent of global trade, and encompassing 60% of the global population.
