Hamnah Shahab is a class I student at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. Her mother Shazia Farheen says she has observed tremendous improvement in her overall personality thanks to the holistic approach towards learning at school. She tells us more about the school and its teachers in an interview.
Edited excerpts:
What made you choose Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park?
Prior to Hamnah, I enrolled my son Arham in the same school. While looking for a good school for him, I heard many good things about Apeejay from my friends and colleagues. They appreciated the quality of education at the school as well as extracurricular. We were impressed and went on to admit our son to Apeejay School in Noida. Later, when we moved to Delhi, someone suggested we enroll our daughter in Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, and observe the changes in her. We enrolled in her nursery and since then she has shown remarkable improvement. She is in class I now and my son is in class IV.
What improvements have you observed in your son and daughter?
My daughter used to be shy and hesitant. But from nursery to now class I, her confidence level has increased. She participates in every kind of extracurricular activity. We are really happy that we chose Apeejay.

Arham is a quick learner, so he was able to adapt easily. The teachers have supported him throughout, boosting his self-confidence and eagerness to be actively involved in every event in school. He has learnt many new skills like public speaking, acting, and so on. I am happy and surprised to see how well my children are able to express themselves.
How has Apeejay’s experiential learning approach benefitted your kids?
I am not in favour of learning only from books. I wanted my children to experience interactive learning, which is what Apeejay encourages and allows children to communicate and apply the concepts they are learning in real-world scenarios. This form of interactive, experiential learning through hands-on activities has worked wonders in developing my children’s interest in academics. They enjoy studying, which is the most important aspect.
How helpful have the teachers been?
Be it an interaction with the school principal or the teachers, they always give parents a clear view of how they are going to proceed with the curriculum and how it would benefit the students. The teachers are not interested in spoon-feeding the children but ignite a sense of curiosity about things and make learning a fun yet enriching experience. They are very helpful and always guide parents.
