Creativity and teamwork take centre stage on Bagless Day at Apeejay School, Kharghar
Learning took a practical and engaging turn for the Class VIII students of Apeejay School, Kharghar, during a recent Bagless Day. Designed around Kaushal Boudh, the day encouraged students to explore ideas, work with their hands, and participate actively in the learning process.
The initiative moved learning beyond the usual dependence on textbooks. It gave students an opportunity to understand that education can also take place through observation, participation, and practical experience. The activities created space for them to think independently while remaining involved with their peers.
Skills through experience
The hands-on activities focused on creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and essential life skills. Students were encouraged to use their imagination, exchange ideas, and work together. This made the learning process both purposeful and enjoyable.
Creativity allowed them to approach the activities with fresh ideas. Teamwork taught them the value of listening, sharing, and contributing to a common task.
