Students of Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, brought laurels to the school with their impressive performances at the Punjab District Yoga Competition. Demonstrating exceptional discipline, flexibility, coordination, skill, and artistic expression, the young participants competed across various categories and emerged with several notable achievements.
In the Traditional Yoga Asanas category, the students displayed remarkable control, balance, and precision. Rabhya Dhawan of Class VII D secured the second position in the Under-14 Girls category, while Diya Bhalla of Class XI B and Anmol Chauhan of Class XII E bagged second position in the Under-19 Girls and Under-19 Boys categories, respectively.

The school also celebrated success in the Artistic Single category. Naira of Class VI D delivered an outstanding performance to secure the first position in the Under-14 Girls category. Her achievement reflected her dedication to rigorous practice and her ability to combine the technical elements of yoga with grace and artistic presentation. Aaradhya Agarwal of Class IX A and Bhawna Agarwal also gave commendable performances, adding to the school’s strong showing in the event.
The students further showcased their talent in the Artistic and Rhythmic Pair Events, where synchronisation, coordination, and expressive movement played a key role. Naira, Rabhya Dhawan, Aaradhya Agarwal, Ravya Gupta, Asmita Prashar, Bhawna Agarwal, and Diya Bhalla participated with confidence and displayed excellent teamwork. Their performances earned the school multiple podium finishes across various events.
The competition provided the students with a valuable platform to test their abilities, interact with fellow young practitioners, and demonstrate the importance of discipline and perseverance in yoga. Their achievements also highlighted the school’s efforts to encourage students to pursue fitness, sporting excellence, and holistic development alongside academics.
