Art with fun brings colours and creativity

Young learners at Apeejay School, Saket, spent a colourful day exploring their creative side through the Art with Fun activity. Freehand painting gave the children an opportunity to work with colours in their own way and enjoy the simple pleasure of creating something by themselves.

The activity brought together imagination, confidence and joy. Instead of following a fixed pattern, the little artists were encouraged to explore colours freely. This gave each child space to express ideas through painting and enjoy the process at a comfortable pace.

Adding fun to the experience

The children came dressed for the occasion in oversized T-shirts belonging to their mothers or fathers. These served as painting aprons and added a playful touch to the activity.

With their makeshift aprons on, the children immersed themselves in freehand painting. Colours became the centre of their experience as they experimented, painted and allowed their imagination to guide their work.

The setting kept the activity simple and enjoyable. The focus remained on giving the children the freedom to create rather than placing boundaries around what their paintings should look like.

Creativity through exploration

Art with Fun allowed the young participants to engage with colours with confidence and curiosity. The children could enjoy painting without the pressure of producing identical work. Their individual expressions became part of the experience.

More than the finished paintings, the activity was about the moments created along the way. The children explored, imagined and enjoyed working with colour while making memories through art.
