Apeejay College of Fine Arts Commemorates Dr. Stya Paul’s enduring legacy

Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar solemnly observed the 16th punyatithi of its revered late Founder Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul, paying heartfelt homage to his extraordinary vision, inspiring leadership, and enduring contribution to education and nation-building. The commemorative programme reflected deep respect and gratitude towards the man whose ideals continue to shape the institution’s commitment to excellence and holistic development.

The observance began on a solemn and devotional note as students from the Department of Music offered a melodious tribute by rendering Dr. Stya Paul’s cherished bhajans, “Vishwapati Ke Dhyan Mein Jisne Lagayi Ho Lagan” and “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patit Pavan Sita Ram.” Their soulful performances filled the atmosphere with serenity, reverence, and emotional warmth, creating a deeply reflective environment while honouring the visionary educationist’s life and values.

On this occasion, a commemorative message from  Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, was shared with the gathering. In her message, she described Dr. Stya Paul as a visionary leader, an inspiring patriot, and a custodian of strong moral values who dedicated his life to advancing education and national progress.
