IIT Roorkee Declares JEE Advanced 2026 Results

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of engineering aspirants across the country.
Students who appeared for the highly competitive entrance examination can now check their results by visiting the official JEE Advanced website.
According to official data released by IIT Roorkee, a total of 1,87,389 candidates registered for the examination this year. Out of these, 1,79,694 candidates appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, which were conducted on May 17, 2026. Among those who appeared, 56,880 candidates successfully qualified for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other participating institutions.
The results also reflected notable participation by female candidates. Of the total qualified candidates, 10,107 are women, highlighting continued representation of female aspirants in one of the country’s most challenging engineering entrance examinations.
JEE Advanced 2026 was conducted in two shifts on May 17. The first paper took place between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon, while the second paper was held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates were required to appear for both papers as part of the examination process.
JEE Advanced remains one of India’s most competitive entrance examinations, serving as the gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at the IITs. With the declaration of results, the focus will now shift towards the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process, where qualified candidates will compete for seats in premier engineering institutions across the country.
