Young artists shine at international competition

From tiny tots to middle schoolers, students of Apeejay School, Tanda Road sweep trophies, medals, and special awards, proving that creativity knows no bounds

Art competitions serve as powerful platforms for young learners to explore their imagination, build confidence, and express their unique perspectives. Encouraging creativity from an early age plays a crucial role in holistic development, helping students refine their artistic skills while nurturing originality and self-expression. 

Embracing this spirit, students of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, from classes nursery to VIII, enthusiastically participated in the International Level Art Competition, organised by Rangotsav Celebration, Mumbai. The event witnessed vibrant participation from young artists who showcased their talent across a wide spectrum of categories, including colouring, handwriting, collage making, cartoon making, greeting card designing, finger and thumb painting, and caricature. Each entry reflected creativity, dedication, and a keen sense of artistic expression. 

The students delivered an outstanding performance, bringing immense pride to the school through their remarkable achievements. The school secured an impressive tally of five trophies along with the prestigious Art Maestro Awards13 international medals, and six consolation prizes. These accolades stand as a testament to the hard work, creativity, and guidance that the students received.

Among the standout achievers, Agam Singh Wahid of Class VII was honoured with a special prize, receiving a mini projector along with a trophy for his exceptional artistic contribution. His achievement highlighted not only his talent but also his dedication to refining his craft. In addition, special prizes were awarded to Harleen Kaur (UKG), Krishna Jindal (Class II), and Prabhjot Kumar (Nursery) for their commendable performances, showcasing that creativity thrives at every stage of learning. 

The competition not only provided a platform for recognition but also encouraged students to think creatively, experiment with new ideas, and push the boundaries of their artistic abilities. Such experiences are invaluable in shaping confident individuals who are unafraid to express themselves.
