IF I WERE A FLOWER BLOOMING IN THE GARDEN

If I were a flower, blooming bright,
I would dance with joy and sight.
I would have spread my fragrance far and wide,
Making everyone happy, with a happy pride.
I would be friends with bees, and hear them hum,
collecting nectar, and making honey comb.
We would work and play, in the Sun’s warm light
A happy friendship shining so bright.
I would drink the sunshine and grow strong and tall,
A home for butterflies, with wings so small.
I would bloom in colours, red, yellow and blue,
A beautiful sight for me and you.
I would teach you to spread joy and love,
To bloom where you are planted, sent from above.
To fill the air with kindness, and be happy too,
To shine like a flower, in all you do.
